Developing cost effective wave energy convertors
Following the testing carried out in Scotland at the end of 2021, additional research has been undertaken and this has led to the production of 2 further scale units to test, currently these units are undergoing bench testing and subject to those tests being satisfactorily concluded a further programme of wave tank tests will be carried out this year to confirm the data.
Currently we are very encouraged by a strikingly low predicted cost of manufacture, this when coupled to remarkable survivability characteristics demonstrate that elastomeric designs, such as Anaconda, have a significant advantage in the race to develop cost effective Wave Energy Convertors.
